Let’s make something beautiful from hardwood that you provide us. This can be limbs and logs from a special, family tree that has fallen recently or needs to come down or reclaimed wood from your house, barn, or other structure. We only use hardwoods for these projects. Some hardwoods are more amenable to our processes than others. Wood pieces with extensive rot or other damage would not be suitable.

We start with a discussion about the wood you have, what you want built, and pricing. A deposit of 50% is due at the beginning of the commission work. We can then pick up your wood and bring it back to our shop or you can ship it to us. If the wood is not adequately dried (less than 10% moisture), we complete the drying process at our shop. Drying freshly cut wood can take several months, even years, depending on the wood species and its thickness. Once dry, we build the piece. The remainder of the price (including any tax, crating, and shipping fees) is due prior to shipping. We hand-deliver our work to local customers within 60 miles of Austin (and within 200 miles for an additional fee).
