This Magnolia blank came from a tree that was cut down to clear property in Taylor, Texas. This is a CHONKY chunk of Southern Magnolia wood. It has a beautiful grain pattern and prominent spalting. The blank will make a gorgeous bowl or platter.

We cut most of our blanks from wood pieces that couldn't be used for other projects. Since the blanks are rough-cut, the measurements don't always match perfectly. This piece measures approximately 10” x 9.75” x 5,” and it weighs OVER 14 POUNDS!!! You will receive the blank in the photos. It was processed green and sealed with Anchorseal.
