Wooden Heart - Magnolia
These Magnolia hearts came from a tree that had been cut down in Taylor, Texas. Each heart is lightly sanded and measures approximately 3.75” across, 3.5" tall, and 0.5" thick. It's rare for us to come by magnolia wood. Magnolia is a hardwood (Janka hardness 1,020 LBF) -- harder than sycamore, but not as hard as white oak.
Each heart is unique, cut from different log slices. Please expect variations in wood color, grain, knots, and cracks. These hearts have been air dried, but cracks can develop and/or enlarge with changes weather/humidity.
