Large 9" Wooden Heart - Bradford Pear

$11.99

This Bradford Pear heart came from a tree that had fallen in Round Rock, Texas. This beautifully figured, chonky wooden heart will add rustic charm to your farmhouse décor or DIY project. The heart is lightly sanded and measures approximately 9” tall and 2” thick. The handcrafted heart was cut from a log cross-section, highlighting the wood rings, natural grain patterns, and central spalting. Bradford Pear wood has rich red, pink, and tan coloring, enhanced in this piece by the spalting pattern.

When cut in cross-section, Bradford Pear wood tends to crack as it dries, regardless of the drying process. This piece has a crack at the top center (see photos). We have marked down the typical price because of this crack.
